Results are in

Drs office finally called. My results are negative for Gestational Diabetes at this time. She said out of the 3 test they did on Friday only the first was highly elevated @ 193. But the other 2 were normal. So she said for now I am considered not to have  GD. If Cassia continues to excel, they may redo testing. 

 

Better Today Than Yesterday

Yesterday I had such pelvic pain. I suspect I did too much on Saturday. Even though I did not feel bad Saturday night. All during the night I felt achy all over but did not have a fever. The next morning I felt really bad. I didn't even have to move and pains shot through my pelvis. It was enough to bring tears into my eyes. It was NOT pleasant.
Today however after staying off my feet I feel much better. So I know what I must do, If I have something I need to do I must not over do the day before. :)

I get results tomorrow from the GD test. I have about convinced myself it will be positive. I hope not, but Cassia is measuring big. I measured myself and found it to be so. I am amazed how that sugar being off can do that to a baby.  From what I read sugar can also keep lungs and other organs from developing to maturity. I do not want that to happen.

JJ is getting married in 5 days! Today when I said it I felt tears well up. Friday night I am in charge of the wedding rehearsal party dinner. JJ requested just a snack type meal. So the menu will include Ham and Swiss rolls, Potatoe Salad, Chips and Dip. Brownie Delight and a friends Fruit Salad, and Drinks. I am hoping it goes well. All I have to actually make is the Dinner rolls and Brownie delight. So not too bad.
  I do dread the walk up the isle to light the candle. Being 7 months pregnant and waddling down the isle is not exactly my idea of fun...lol But for my child I would do it 100 times. :)

Glucose Test

I woke up at 5:30 this morning and just sort of laid there until 6. Got up and began  getting ready for the appointment. I got there and they took me right in. So at 10:45 I was done. However, thanks to the holiday it will be Tuesday before I get my results. So, I have to wonder the entire weekend. As soon as I find out I will post.

It's Finally OVER!!!

I just finished working at the old house. I finished it and no longer have to go there to do anything! I cannot tell you how happy this makes me! Now I can focus on this place and getting it all fixed like I like it! It will be a job, but at least I don't have to split my time any longer! I am excited! Yay!!!!!

I love Freecycle! I had posted a "wanted" listing for little tykes yard toys.
Though this is not what I had in mind, I am very excited for the children to have such a fun
playground in their back yard! Jasper has to dismantle it and rebuild it in our yard. I feel for him, but I love it!

28 Weeks!

My goodness it is going by fast! Lil' Cassia is growing every day. I can feel it, literally. She is measuring bigger and that is a fact. I felt where my womb is and was a bit surprised! I am measuring quite large.

 In this chart I should be at the 28 week mark, however, I am closer to the 32 week mark! If this continues I am sure they will try to take her 2 weeks earlier verses 1 and I am not sure I like that idea.

When I go back we are supposed to be scheduling my C-section with Dr. Botticelli. I think however I am supposed to see Dr. Keats this time. I would prefer him to do it because I have seen him so far on each visit.

Friday, May 25, I go to the office to have another glucose test. This one as said before will take 3 hours to complete. I am hoping we have a better outcome with this test.

The Livingroom

Moved in. It's small but cozy! I am thankful! We can breath better now.

Celebrating!

My crew made it home safe, thanking the Lord! We spend Saturday just laying around the house doing very little. It was a good day.
Today we are going to spend celebrating with Rebecca on her birthday. Since everyone was gone to Georgia on her birthday. She has been such a trooper during all this. She is such a selfless child. Easy to please and a heart of Gold. God has been so good to us. We have such wonderful children! No they are not perfect, but they are great! I love each one so much!

Traveling today

Everyone is traveling back from Georgia today. JJ and Renee left at 10 or so, and should be home around 8. Jasper and Samuel left at 1:45pm I do not expect them until midnight.

It will be nice to have the crew home. It has been quiet here and I actually enjoyed it. :)

The Little House on Huckleberry...

I thought it would be interesting to post some photos of what has been taking place in the new house. Getting it ready has been a challenge. My poor husband has worked so very hard, and Samuel too. We pulled many 12 and 14 hour days.

We will miss you Mike...

My brother in law Mike passed away of liver disease. It's hard to believe he is gone. Mike never married, nor did he have any children. Such a shame because he loved children so much. I remember him always playing with his nieces and nephews. He was a good man, we will miss him.

Finally Updating!

It has been a very crazy month. We spent weeks getting the new house ready to move in. It was very hard work and stressful to boot. Really we wanted to do more than what we did, but ran out of time. Jasper is actually still moving our things even tonight.

One thing that has been very hard is moving from a 2,000sq ft home to a cracker box.  It has been a mess for sure. I have things piled everywhere! I don't know how or when it will all get fit into this house and make any sense. I know it will in time. Just have to be patient.

Jasper is leaving in the morning for Georgia. His brother Mike passed away from an extended illness. He will be preaching the Funeral. I am not going as it is a 10 hour trip by car and I have so much pain now in my pelvis I just cannot do that kind of trip in 48 hours. I hate to not go but have to do what I feel is best for me.

I went to the Dr today. I am 27 weeks today. I am measuring 2 weeks ahead and have to have a ultrasound in 3 weeks to remeasure baby. I had my Glucose test today and hopefully that will come out okay. I will know tomorrow. Other than that all is going pretty good.

I will be posting some pictures very soon of the house and the changes that have taken place. I am hoping to get them up tomorrow so be looking for those!

It's time to go for now. I am so happy to have my internet again!
