This is it!

The day has finally arrived. We have officially begun moving. I have lots to do and the internet will be off soon. I may be late on my pregnancy blog so please forgive.

Jasper is down at the house painting, Samuel is packing, Rebecca is cleaning up her room getting it ready for me to pack the rest of her things. I am about to go finish my packing. I am ready for this to be over now lol. I dread it at the same time.

Jasper took a load with him of boxes and Carpet and vinyl floor covering. He had more than he realized. :) Yay! That is a plus for sure!

I think furniture move day will be on Thursday.  It's a sunny day. Wednesday is possible depending on if the weather stays clear, It is 30% rain that day. We usually do not get rain at that percentage, but there is always a first, I don't want it to be when I have my furniture loaded on a truck! KWIM?

If you need me send me a txt message or call. :)

House and more

Well I wish I could report that it was coming along quickly, but I cannot. It is taking forever. If we could we would wait until the end of May! The way it is right now, we will have to move in before everything we had planned to do is completed. I really hate this! But, sometimes it has to be the way it has to be. So, My cabinets won't be completed, nor the dining room floor, nor the kitchen floor....etc I did buy the kitchen floor so it is here at least! We will get it painted and carpet in the upstairs finished. Then we will move in, I will do bit by bit. At least we do not have to feel as rushed.

Because I have put in many hours at that house I finally had to listen to my body and take a night and just rest. It was very hard as we are in Camp meeting. Not to mention Samuel got a huge blessing. I missed it! The rest however felt wonderful. I kicked back in my recliner for several hours! It was very nice.

Today I am not going to the new house. I have enough here to keep me busy. I am going to try to go to the night service, but if I am too sore I won't.

My pelvis is getting worse by the day. It will continue until I have Cassia. I am thankful it does not mess with the ability to carry her. It is just down right uncomfortable for me. As soon as we do the c-section, it will relieve that so much. Only 14 and a 1/2 weeks left! Whooo hooo!

24 Weeks!

Can you believe it? 24 weeks! Only 15 weeks to go! Yay! I am for the most part feeling good. Of course the pelvis is always an issue in my pregnancies, but other than that I do feel good.
Cassie has regular sleep patterns. She is sleeping right now. I felt her move this morning with a little prodding. She turned last night which was not a pleasant feeling. She is now in a vertical position. How long that will last is any one's guess lol.

I have had people ask questions about what we want for Cassia. I have several needs. Most of them newborn clothes. I also need a set of the bars to convert the playpen to a bassinet. I may have to purchase that myself. I am not doing a theme yet for her, but am leaning toward the old Holly Hobbie. That will come once we get her own room set up. For now I just want to stick with basics. I have all furniture I will need for the baby. Not even sure where some of it will fit into the new house lol.

I will close for now. I have much to do today to get ready for the move. Going to begin packing the kitchen, bathroom, and my bedroom. I want to be ready to move starting Monday!

This Past Week

We finally began working on the house on Monday, and it really has been a job.  As I have said before, I think, the walls are boards and there are cracks that were very large. So we decided to caulk the cracks. It took all day and we did not even finish the one room. So the next day we decided to use sheet rock mud. It did make it go faster, but it still took a long time. we finally got through with it all on Friday at about 6:30 p.m.

Today, Saturday, we went over and pulled the rotten carpet from the house. It was nasty! The two out buildings were so full of garbage as well, so since today happened to be free day at the landfill, Jasper and Samuel loaded up all that would fit on a borrowed 1ton truck with a dump trailer and took it away. Yay!

I have posted some pictures and it showed the carpets coming out. It what will be my stove/country decor room, we found that there are wooden floors there. I think it would look great to keep them that way. It would so match the house. Not to mention the bathroom door. I love it.

Next on the agenda...

On Monday, we will go back to the house and begin painting! I am so excited to be getting to this point. Although we still will have a ways to go yet from there. See list:

Paint walls
Paint trim
lay carpet and other floor covering
Install kitchen cabinets

We must be moved by May the 5th. That is 2 weeks from today. Jasper says he can paint the entire house in a day. I am sure he can do the carpet in no more than 2 days, however, the kitchen may take a few days. I think we will meet our deadline. Who knows we may get to move a day or so earlier than we expect. We will see.

I have worked very hard this week. I was so tired on Wednesday at church. My pelvis was so sore and the  more I sat the stiffer I got. Service was almost over and I decided to go to the bathroom. So off I went with kids in tow. Finally got back into the Sanctuary, and sat on the back pew. Sis Becky says: "I would like to hear The Merrell's sing: When The Home Gates Swing Open For Me". I dropped my head and said "Oh dear God, please no....I normally do not do that. Normally I love to sing. But when I am pregnant I lose my ability to hold a note. Breathing becomes a real task. It's a normal side effect to pregnancy, but not pleasant at all. But, I managed to get up to the platform and sing as good as I could. I was completely given out afterward that I sat down on the front pew and nearly cried. I was just so tired. I am rested pretty much from that now. I am tired but not like I was.

Today was a fairly easy day. I was only at the other house a couple hours. So, I was able to focus on this house. I got a good bit done. I feel good about my day. I am so ready for bed. And as soon as we can get the children in bed, I am gone myself! :)

Well, that's all for tonight. I will post more as we progress.

Have a great Sunday!

The Bathroom Door

I love this door! Jasper wants to see it gone, but I love it.
And being right beside the Stove/Country room, makes it fit perfectly!

The Old Stove Room

We removed the carpet from the stove room. It has the old boards that hopefully will clean up nicely. I plan to use this floor like this for a while. I can't decide if I want to paint the floor or put oak down. I like the rustic look and it would look good with the primitive stuff I plan to have in there. I think it will look good either way.

Tearing out the old yucky carpet!

The carpet in the new house was horrible. Evidently the other people had pets and let them use the carpet. It was BAD! The carpet padding was so rotted it crumbled. So since it was free day at the landfill today we borrowed a truck and hauled it away!

So Tired!

Is it over yet? No way! It has just begun! Ever since Monday we have been working on the house. The house has the old tongue and groove wall boards and there is some very large cracks in between each board. So we decided to fill the cracks with caulk. It took all day to do just one room. So then we decided we would fill them with sheet rock mud. That has gone faster, however there are lots of cracks and a total of 3 other bedrooms that needed to be done. Samuel and I have gotten almost 2 rooms completed before we just gave out. So Jasper went over and finished the room we had almost completed. So there is just one more room. JAsper is going to finish it in the morning. I will go over in the afternoon and do a bit more caulking downstairs and we will be ready to paint on Saturday.

23 Weeks!

Wow! Time is ticking past at an even faster rate now. I am sure partly because of staying so busy with the house project. I am having a rough day today with soreness from being on my feet all day yesterday. But it is nothing dangerous, just discomfort. August will be here before I know it. It is an amazing thing to see how time is just swiftly passing.
Cassia seems to be growing well and is moving as I type this. She is so loved already. Carl, although he wasn't very happy at the thought of a sister at first, has seemed to warm up to the idea. He pats my tummy and says, "I love that girl". How sweet is that? He and Rebecca were able to feel Cassia kick for the first time, 2 nights ago. Watching their eyes was fun! My next Dr visit will be May 10th. My moms birthday. I am sure at some point I will soon be having my glucose test. Kinda surprised they have not done that yet. I may have to remind them.

Well, dishes are awaiting me. As is laundry. I plan to go to the house after lunch today. I better get off this pc or I will never get finished!

Working hard filling the cracks! We need to do this before we can paint. I caulked from 9:30 this morning until 5 this evening. Went home and cooked supper and we are back. I am not helping this time. Resting on a roll of carpet lol!

Moving and Dr Visits

I am well into our packing now. I am having to rest a lot to help with the pelvic pain I am having. Yesterday, it burned so bad. The Dr said it was because of the Progesterone Cream that it was making things more relaxed so I feel it sooner. I had cut the cream down to 1x a day and when I told him that I saw a look of dislike come on his face. Kinda surprised me actually. He stressed if I had ANY cramping to increase back to 2x a day. I decided I would just go back to it anyway since his face changing sort of unnerved me. I had slacked off because I was getting nauseated again. But, guess I can just deal with that. lol It wasn't that bad anyway. The Sonogram today got a better look at Cassia's heart. They were please that all was well. We saw her yawn during the scan. It was so sweet.
I am 22 weeks 3 days.

We are going this evening to buy the paint we need as well as floor covering for the kitchen. I am excited! I just wanted to check in, it might be less in the next few days that I even check my mail. It's going to get really crazy here. I will post when I can.

((((hugs))))

22 Weeks! Whooo hooo!

I can hardly believe we are here at this point. Little sweet Cassia has really been growing. I can tell by the way I feel inside and the discomfort level I am having..lol she moves a lot, and has had the hic ups.

Moving in the middle of a pregnancy is never fun. I have had to rest a bit more. I am 43 ya know...lol Over all I feel pretty good though. Most of the downstairs is packed. I have run out of boxes and am picking up 50 tomorrow. So I will just focus on cleaning up a bit. The house looks terrible for sure right now.

It's hard to believe we have just 17 weeks left. Time is going fast and with this move it will go faster! She will be here before we know it. I try to guess what she will look like. Since we have 3 different looks in the family she will surely match one of them lol. I am hoping she looks more like Carl. Since he has the light hair and blue eyes. That way Carl would have someone to match him.  But if not that is fine. As long as she is well, that is all I care.

Well, That is all for now. I am sitting with my feet up and being kicked like crazy....going to check my listings and emails..... Until next time!

Hard Days Work!

Today has been a day of packing! I have almost all the livingroom and diningroom packed, Rebecca's room is nearly finished as well. All curtains and pictures are off the walls. The house looks so empty already! I have to pack my bedroom and the kitchen and bathroom still.

I have listed several things to sell, not that I wanted to, but the other house is smaller and there is just nothing else I can do. I will use the money to help buy the floor covering that I need to get. I also need a fridge and stove. Hopefully the people will show tomorrow like they have said.

Tomorrow I will finish packing, the livingroom and diningroom. I will wash the curtains and put in a bag. It is going pretty good so far. However it is far from over! I will try to post tomorrow for my pregnancy journal.

Packing is going slowly

I am not sure why, but I just can't seem to make myself get going on this packing! No, not just because being pregnant, but just not motivated. I think I must like to wait until it has to be done in high gear! Which causes stress levels to soar...lol
Today we have managed to clean out some things. But not near enough! lol I am sure we will squeeze it all in somehow!

Bella Grace has yet another cold. The drainage is horrible! The rest of the crew for now seems well. We hope it continues!
We have a Easter play beginning tonight. I am hoping it goes well. Jasper, Samuel and Rebecca are in it. I hope  all goes smoothly.

Well, better get to work! at the rate I am going it is going to take a while lol!

April 4, 2012

Today was my due date for Christiana Joy. The baby we lost before becoming pregnant with Cassia Rose. I am sad today for I can't help but wonder what she would have looked like. What color hair and eyes she would have had. I look for the day when I can be with all my babies. I have an entire family in heaven! I know one day soon I will meet them all. Until then, I continue on with my earthly family that I have been so blessed with. I am looking forward to August!

21 Weeks!

It's hard to believe we are 21 weeks now. I have been having a little bit of nausea again. Not sure why. It's not bad just there. I have so much going on and am taking this moment to update then it's out to sort through things again.

I noticed that Cassia is a little quiet today, so I took a listen. She was wiggling the whole time. I did catch something however. I think she was holding the cord because her heart rate dropped way down for just a few seconds. Then she moved and it picked up again. I listened for a couple minutes and it remained steady. So, although I was a little alarmed at first, I feel like she just squeezed her cord.

My heartburn is picking up somewhat. I have nearly finished my bottle of Tums that I bought  a few weeks ago. I am sure that before it is over with I will have a bottle in each room...lol I did with Rebecca. Matter of fact with her I took Zantac and ate Tums like they were candy!

This is not going to be an easy month. We have so much to do getting ready fro the move. At least we are just moving across town and not across country again! THAT is when it really gets crazy!

I go to the Dr on the 13th for another ultrasound. I get more pictures! Yay!

Okay that's got to do for now. I will never get done if I don't get started. Have a great day everyone!
